How do I create automatic notes in a HubSpot workflow?
Guide to using the “Create Notes in Workflows” action.
Steps to create notes

In HubSpot, go to Automation → Workflows.

Open or create a workflow for Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, or Custom Objects.

Click + to add an action and search for Create Notes in Workflows.

Configure your note details:

Note Owner: Choose a user or token (e.g. Contact owner).

Date: Use a fixed date or personalization token.

Content: Write your note. You can include tokens like friend.

Click Save and Review and Publish your workflow.

Test it by enrolling a record. Check the record’s Notes tab to see your automatically created note.
Troubleshooting

Issue: Action not available.
Fix: Check that your HubSpot plan supports workflow extensions (Professional or higher). -
Issue: Note doesn’t appear.
Fix: Verify that your workflow ran and the record met all enrollment conditions. -
Issue: Tokens not populating.
Fix: Confirm the object type supports that token.
